*brushes off yet another anon newbie*
I have a 60 rogue and a 60 mage and its really hard to say which I like most. The mage is the most fun in PvP and and kill more with her tbh (probably due to better items).....but I think for stealth fun I prefer the rogue all round.
I enjoy playing a hunter too....

mages are in desperate need of the fix in 1.11, which i'm really looking forward to, it might make me come back a play Dread again.
Without trinkets, mages are the only balanced class out there, we're made to slaughter melee classes to be fair, but the only problem is, that when they get in melee distance, it's game over.
I love my mage, simpley because he doesn't have trinkets, nor any uber items. They're one of the few classes that require skill to play. IMO Mage vs Mage (without trinkets or uber gear) is one of the very few fights that ever required skill.
Anyway, enough on mages. Rogues:
Whilst being great fun to play, they require little to no skill. It's all about the build and which 'preset' rogue tactic you wish to follow. World of Roguecraft 2 and 3 are a great example of how amazingly overpowered rogues are, I'm not sure about 1, because I haven't seen it. But rogue is easy mode, so i think i prefer pvping on my mage.

But rogue is easy mode, so i think i prefer pvping on my mage. no offense dread but learn2play. world of roguecraft = omg i can spec prep use a set damage skill and every cooldown twice every 10 minutes to kill a green geared unskilled guy with 2.5k hp, awesome! hey i can also kill this warrior who turns with his keyboard and clicks all his skills from the spellbook! clearly rogues are imba! anyone who thinks those videos have any merit or prove anything clearly doesnt understand how pvp works. mage vs mage being skill.. uh, no. poly-> nuke, shit that was hard. its one of the least skilled 1v1 matchups. how you can call a "who has the most +dmg gear and gets the most crits" contest skill i dont know. rogues are "all about the build"? not really. "preset tactic"? play a 60 rogue. every single spec of every single class requires a different style of play to beat. as a firemage different classes involve "do i counterspell this guy and nuke or kite him and nuke". i love mages, mage is probably my 2nd or 3rd favourite class, but theyre probably the easiest class to play overall, with rogues being one of the most challenging to play vs skilled players, along with pre deathcoil locks. so done informing dread of his misconceptions. favourite classes = rogue, destrolock, firemage.

He does actually say Muji mate that mages with crap gear are the only real pvp class and u talk about +dmg gear kinda misses his point k "anon" enlighten me as to how mages with 'crap gear' are the only real pvp class. mages having 'crap gear' means you cant 1 hit people, so yes you may need to use some some skill to succeed. doesnt make them a different class does it.
