Im about to upgwade me PC, and apart from games Im gonna be doing some 3d film editing with sound etc. The questiond ids (for my budget) whether to get either a AMD 3800 venice core (at 2.4ghz) OR a AMD 3800+ DUAL venice core for £20 more (2.0 ghz/x2) I can overclock the former to outperform even a FX55, but the dual isnt that good fer overclockin. However, I do like the idea of heavy multitaking without strain on my pc, for example when Im playing UO or WoW. While we are on a techie subject, found an interesting dual AGP/PCI mobo the other day: www.tomshardware.com/motherboard/20050916/index.htmlAnyone gone Dual core yet?

id take dualcore its not so much more expensive and the recent nvidia drivers started to support it and test results show major boost in certain games due of it
+2 real cores beats any time hyperthreading or such, theres more benefits from it than drawbacks
