I have just always thought UO has some skilll, about this much

Its hard to get to the top but not that hard, and once you do , everyone is at that level, anyone can beat anyone,
eg - I can kill someone easily but then they can do something gay and kill me easily straight after , the line between bad and good player is not that clear.

Uo isnt a hard game, look at dueling, uses about 9 different buttons
lighting
harm
poison
explosion
mindblast
ebolt
curse
etc
Press them in the same standard comboes on a good ping and you will win , Exp poison harm harm harm poison weaken weaken e bolt lightning, nothing special or inventive about that.
On the field, pretty much the same, if party member is low health g heal them , cast spells on enemys and sync timing easily if u have ventrilo, or try to sync without ventrilo is a bit harder but comes with xperience.
Want to stay alive 5vs1 ? -> Equip G heal wand and run away , you cant stop it.
WE A MEN: dueling yes, but in teamplay there are as many styles as players nearly, though there are many fags who play gay style and never will be REALLY good and will always eventually lose. take DiE /Hate we dont use anykind of communication to who we target, who mortals or anything that shit, we just work together. We play very offensive style, and like AI/ELC on other hand is always very defensive if the lame kills dont work aka. WEAKEN WEAKEN WEKANE
Want to be known as a good 1v1'er ? Cast weaken then g heal loads, and then everytme an opponenttrys 2 spells in a row disrupt the 2nd spell. Thats the kind of "skill" i have witnessed from the "best" players.
WE A MEN: I have 0 respect for good duelers, and weaken spam doesnt work vs. good players (magic arrow counters it effectively)
Thats why i stick with calling players incompetent and competent, the line between good and a bad player is too blurry to be good in this game.

Sorry but yes Uo uses some skills in teamwork when doing a huge harrower or something or in one of these old faction battles i hear about , but it still doesnt compare to an FPS game , except Counterstrike maybe as its crap and skill-less

You have an almost infinite amount of way you can move and play, people can have different styles unlike uo where most fight the same, and the learning curve is so huge that even someone like me who has practised for hours and hours and can win 90% of public servers is still "low skill" and i can admit that as i can clearly see others pwn me. A good player in UT is so Evident that he will beat a lesser one 40-0 , in UO lets say a not bad player like me duels a quite incompetent player like cookie, sadly i will lose atleast 1 in 10 duels because of luck and other influences such as the fact that you can only get so good in ultima.
